Biography

Tea Ercoles Italian-Australian painter. She is an exceptional artist specialises in seascapes and floral scenes inspired by the beauty of nature. The luxury of tranquillity, it has become a privilege in our lives. She said, “when I am  painting I get lost in the moment and what is hidden within myself can surface. I look back now at my last year of work and I can see what I have been craving the most: a moment of peace and quiet for myself”. In 2007 she won the John Tallis Prize – Highly Commended- Melbourne, Australia .

Water. Floating weightless in a blanket of water and let the ripples wash away your worries.

Flowers. I love my garden. It is always very generous and each season it rewards me with new shapes and new colors. Nature doesn’t compromise with its brightness and colors, so why should I. The richness of my garden floats in my painting with the bold textures and the intense colors.

Nudes. The beauty of the curves of the female body becomes part of the movement in the composition. All the elements combine with the figure in an eddy of water, flowers, colors and textures creating movement without turmoil. The garden where my soul can rest, inspired and get my floating tranquillity.
